🕺Dance Floor Etiquette - Let's Keep It Fun for Everyone!💃
To make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time, please follow these simple dance floor guidelines:
Arrive On Time - Lessons and run-throughs start promptly. Being on time helps everyone stay in sync.
Watch Your Step - Be mindful not to trample or bump into others when songs begin.
Respect Shared Space - No dancer is entitled to more floor, regardless of skill level. Be aware of your surroundings and share the floor.
Don't interrupt Mid-Dance - Please wait until a dancer finishes before asking questions or starting a conversation.
Don't Cut Through the Floor- If a dance is in progress, walk around the edges - never through the middle.
Let People Rest - Please don't force other dancers to show you the dance and allow them to rest.
Learn on the Edges - During Open Dance, please do not get in the middle of the floor to learn a dance for your safety and others. Do so at the edges.
Requests & Open Dance - Open dance will include taught dances, followed by song requests. Submit yours early!
Be Encouraging, Not Critical - We're all here to learn and have fun. Kindness goes a long way.
